A social media approval workflow that runs on WhatsApp

A social media approval workflow is the review step between someone drafting a post and that post going live. EaseMyPost moves that step into WhatsApp, where small business owners already are, instead of a dashboard they have to remember to open.

The problem with dashboard approvals

Most approval workflows assume the approver logs into a tool. That works for a marketing team. It does not work for a shop owner who checks WhatsApp forty times a day and a dashboard never.

When approvals live somewhere the approver does not go, one of two things happens: posts sit unapproved for days, or the team gives up and posts without approval.

How the WhatsApp approval loop works

  1. Monday morning. One message arrives with the week's ideas in plain language.
  2. You reply. Approve, Edit or Skip — per idea, in a few taps.
  3. Editing is conversational. Say what to change in your own words. No form.
  4. Only then does it build. No reel is rendered, no carousel assembled, until you approve.
  5. You see the finished post before it is scheduled, and can still skip it.

Nothing is built before approval. This matters for cost as much as control — rendering video is the expensive part, and it only happens for posts you actually want.

Approve, Edit and Skip

ReplyWhat happens next
ApproveThe post is built, you see the result, then it publishes on schedule
EditYou describe the change in plain language and it redrafts, then asks again
SkipThe idea is dropped. Nothing is built and nothing publishes

What still reaches you after publishing

Comments and direct messages are answered automatically in your brand voice. Anything the system is not confident about — a price, whether something is in stock, a complaint — is escalated to you rather than guessed at. On Sunday you get a short summary of what went out and how it performed.

Common questions

Can I turn approvals off and let it post automatically?

No. There is no unattended mode. If you want fully automatic posting, this is the wrong tool.

What if I do not reply?

Nothing publishes. You get a reminder, batched so you are not messaged repeatedly, and the idea waits for you.

Can more than one person approve?

Today approvals go to the business owner's number. Multi-approver workflows are not supported yet.
