EaseMyPost as a Buffer alternative
Buffer is a good scheduler and a fair price. The reason a shop owner ends up looking for an alternative is rarely the scheduling — it is that the calendar is still empty on Monday morning and somebody has to fill it.
The difference in one line
Buffer publishes content you have already written. EaseMyPost decides what to post, writes it, builds it, and asks your permission before it goes out. One is a delivery mechanism; the other is the job that comes before delivery.
Side by side
Buffer figures read from buffer.com/pricing on 18 August 2026. Pricing changes — check their site before deciding.

Where Buffer is the better choice
Buffer covers far more networks than we do. If you need X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest or a Google Business Profile, Buffer does it and we do not. Its free plan is genuinely useful, its per-channel pricing is cheap if you only run one or two accounts, and if you already produce your own content then paying for a system that produces content is paying twice.
Where EaseMyPost is
The gap Buffer does not fill is the blank page. If your posting has stalled because nobody has time to think of the idea, shoot it, write it and lay it out, a faster queue does not help. The other gap is the review step: Buffer's approval is a team feature on the Team plan, designed for a colleague signing off a colleague's work in a dashboard. Ours is designed for the one person who owns the business, on the app they already have open.
An honest summary
If you have a marketing person, a content calendar you already fill, and posts written before they are scheduled, a scheduler is the right tool and you should use one. The approval step in those tools exists to route work between colleagues.
EaseMyPost is for the case where there is no colleague. The owner is the marketing department, the approval is the only review the post will ever get, and it has to happen on a phone in under a minute between customers. That is why it lives on WhatsApp and why it cannot be switched off.
