EaseMyPost as a Hootsuite alternative
Hootsuite is enterprise software. That is not a criticism — it is who it is for. For a single shop with one Instagram account and no marketing staff, most of what you would pay for is capability you will never open.
The difference in one line
Hootsuite gives a marketing team one console for many accounts and many people. EaseMyPost assumes there is no team, and does the work a team would have done.
Side by side
Hootsuite figures read from hootsuite.com/plans on 18 August 2026. Pricing changes — check their site before deciding.

|---|---|---|
| Built for | Marketing teams and agencies | Owner-operated businesses with no marketing staff |
| Who writes the post | Your team | The system drafts it; you approve or rewrite in plain language |
| Approval | Team review and approval starts on the Advanced plan | Always on, at every tier, on WhatsApp |
| Entry price | Plans start at $99/month (Standard), $199 (Professional), up to $399 (Advanced) | Flat monthly fee per business in INR, agreed before the first charge |

Where Hootsuite is the better choice
If you manage many brands, need several people working in the same queue with roles and permissions, want deep listening and reporting across networks, or answer to a compliance process, Hootsuite is built for exactly that and we are not. Agencies running dozens of accounts should not be reading this page.
Where EaseMyPost is
The mismatch for a small business is not only price. It is that every one of these tools assumes the content already exists and the hard part is coordination. For a jeweller or a salon owner the hard part is the content, and the coordination is a single person deciding yes or no. Note also where approval sits: on Hootsuite it arrives on the Advanced plan, the most expensive published tier. It is the whole premise here, at every tier.
An honest summary
If you have a marketing person, a content calendar you already fill, and posts written before they are scheduled, a scheduler is the right tool and you should use one. The approval step in those tools exists to route work between colleagues.
EaseMyPost is for the case where there is no colleague. The owner is the marketing department, the approval is the only review the post will ever get, and it has to happen on a phone in under a minute between customers. That is why it lives on WhatsApp and why it cannot be switched off.
