Delete my data

You can have everything we hold about you deleted. You do not need to give a reason, and you do not need an active account to ask.
How to request deletion
Email [email protected] from the address on your account with the subject Delete my data, or send the same message on the WhatsApp thread you use for approvals. Tell us the business name so we can find the right workspace.
What happens next

| Immediately on confirmation | All connected platform tokens are deleted, which ends our access to your Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Threads and WhatsApp accounts. Scheduled posts stop. |
| Within 30 days | Your workspace and its data are deleted: brand profile, drafts, uploaded photos and video, rendered posts, comment and DM history, and approval history. |
| Within 90 days | The data ages out of encrypted backups, which are on a rolling retention cycle and are not edited in place. |
What we keep, and why
We retain invoices and payment records where Indian tax law requires it. Those contain your business name and the amount charged — not your content, photos, or messages. We also keep a minimal record that a deletion request was made and completed, so we can prove we honoured it.
What we cannot delete
Posts already published to your own Instagram, Facebook, YouTube or Threads account belong to that account, not to us — delete those from the platform itself. Deleting your EaseMyPost data does not remove content already live on your pages.
Revoking access yourself, right now
You do not have to wait for us. You can cut off our access immediately from the platform's own settings:
- Instagram and Facebook: Facebook Settings → Business Integrations, then remove EaseMyPost.
- YouTube and Google: Google Account → Security → Your connections to third-party apps.
- WhatsApp: reply STOP on the approval thread and we stop messaging you.
Revoking access stops us acting on your accounts, but it does not by itself delete the data we already hold — email us for that.
